Sarcophagus stands tall offering protection and might, embracing the eternality of spirit as it journeys on through life.  This piece represents a turning point in my life.  The slab was resurrected from a fire which destroyed my work premises in 1996. The art is like a sacred totem to me, indicative of a spiritual rebirth of sorts, achieved only by a sense of a rigid part to myself having to die, a cleansing through the fire, a shift of consciousness.
