A love story, inspired by my poem written with the same title. Of memories, suspended and drifting way out deep into the cosmos. This piece is magical and precious in that it captures an immeasurable time-locked sentiment, a surreal account of a night flight into dreams of passion and yearning. The honeyed dreams, a lifetime, or was it a decade ago, branded deep beneath Venus’ quilt. Interpret as you will.

Seirena symbolises the historic nature of the Seirenes (Sirens).
These sea-nymphs had the power of charming whomever heard their sweet, alluring song.
It is the deeply sad yet darkly romantic aspect of these mythological sisters that I seek to portray in this piece.
